When you want to carry a boxed dessert, a gift box or a packaged treat upright, the near-square body and wide gusset do the job. The same form can serve to give guests invitation and engagement treats in a single bag. The body is wide toward the sides, so the corners of the box do not strain the bag. White handles are stitched to the top mouth. With the mouth open, a second fabric layer shows inside. The bag has edges joined by ultrasonic welding. Because the corners of the box find room inside the bag, the package is carried without being crushed. Serial production can prepare many bags in the same size, so quantity planning is possible for events with a fixed date such as an invitation. In the example shown, most of the front is covered by a cream panel, with curved brown and gold lines at the corners, a burgundy band in the lower section and a small emblem in the middle. Digital printing can be chosen for this multicolor layout. Colors are matched by Pantone codes.
